What has been audited

Two today: SOC 2 Type I and GDPR. We will add frameworks to this page when an auditor has signed them off, not before.

SOC 2 Type I

An independent auditor reviewed how we control access, store recordings and handle changes to our systems. Your security team can read the report and check it against the standard they already use.

Request the report

GDPR compliant

We handle personal data in line with GDPR. A data processing agreement is available if your legal team needs one.

Ask for the DPA

Data protection

How recordings are protected

A kitchen-table conversation can include a homeowner's budget, their address and what they think of your price. These are the controls around it.

Encrypted in transit

TLS between the rep's phone, our servers and your browser.

Encrypted at rest

Recordings and transcripts are stored with AES-256.

Consent in all 50 states

Consent tools cover the two-party consent states too, and we train reps on what to say before they press record.

Never sold, never used to train someone else's model

Your recordings stay yours. Ask for deletion and we act on it.

Role-based access

Reps, managers and admins each see a different slice. More on that below.

Monitored cloud hosting

Enterprise cloud infrastructure, watched around the clock, with failover. Nothing sits on a local server.

    We send the paperwork

The SOC 2 Type I report, security documentation and DPA go straight to your reviewer.

  3. Questionnaire

    We fill in your questionnaire

Send your own security questionnaire and we complete it. Nobody on your team has to.

  4. Sign-off

    Your reviewer signs off

After that you can pass the SOC 2 report on to your own enterprise clients when they ask.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it legal to record conversations with clients?

Recording laws vary. In most places it is legal to record client conversations for training and quality control. A handful of two-party consent states require you to tell the client before recording starts, and SalesAsk's consent tools cover them.

How do I get the SOC 2 report?

Ask us at info@salesask.com or through your account team. We send it on request.

Do you use our recordings to train AI for other companies?

No. Your data is not sold, not shared, and not used to train models for other companies.

Can we delete our data?

Yes. Request deletion at any time and we act on it promptly.

How will my sales reps react to being recorded?

Some hesitation is normal in the first two weeks. New reps tend to take to it first because it shortens the time before they run appointments alone. The rep who stays skeptical longest is usually the one whose numbers were already fine, until a recording settles a commission dispute in their favour.
