Sound familiar?

The follow-up went out two days late and never mentioned what they asked for.

A home improvement job sells across two visits, a few estimates and a design-center hand-off. The homeowner says one thing in the kitchen and another to their spouse in the car.

“We'll get back to you once we see the other bids.”

Service rep talking with a homeowner at the front doorThe budget was never framed, so the estimate landed as a surprise.
With SalesAsk

Every estimate is checked for budget framing before the number, so you see who skips it.

“It went well. They're thinking about it.”

Pest control tech in the truck between stopsYour estimator says the budget objection was handled. Nobody can check.
With SalesAsk

Every visit is scored, so the review takes five minutes and starts at the moment that mattered.

“We'll need to talk it over first.”

Termite inspector checking floor joists in a basementThe second decision maker was never asked when they could be there.
With SalesAsk

Every visit where the spouse question was missed gets flagged, with the moment ready to replay.

What SalesAsk does

A coach that never misses a visit. Every rep, every door.

How it works
01

Score every visit against your process

From the first walk-through to the signed contract, every step is checked so estimators know exactly what to change.

  • Your steps, not a generic template
  • Quote and timestamp behind every score
  • Works for estimators, designers and project managers
02

No more notes in the truck

SalesAsk writes the CRM notes, sets the next step and logs the visit in JobTread, Builder Prime or LeadPerfection.

  • Notes written from the conversation
  • Next steps and follow-ups set automatically
  • Syncs with the tools you already use
03

Coaching before the second visit

Coach Dean sends each estimator specific feedback minutes after the visit, with the line it came from.

  • Private to the rep first
  • Practice the missed step with AI roleplays
  • Managers see who improved

FAQ

Home improvement questions

How does it work for a design consultation and a second-visit close?

The estimator records the first visit, the designer records the design consultation, and Coach Dean scores each one against your process: budget framing, a reality check on timeline, who the decision makers are and how the second visit gets set up. When the second visit comes, the rep walks in knowing exactly what the homeowner said the first time.

Does SalesAsk integrate with Builder Prime?

Yes. Connecting takes under five minutes with no developer, and SalesAsk also works with JobTread, LeadPerfection, ServiceTitan, Jobber and Housecall Pro. Summaries, action items and next steps sync to the job record, so nothing depends on what the estimator remembers to type after the appointment.

How will my estimators and designers react to being recorded?

Some hesitation at the start is normal. Your best estimators usually come around first, once their best first visits become the training material for the rest of the team. Newer estimators tend to like it most, because they hear how experienced people handle the budget conversation instead of guessing. It is coaching, not surveillance.

Is it legal to record a home improvement sales visit?

In most places it is legal to record customer conversations for training and quality control, whether that is at the kitchen table, in the design center or on a site walk. A few locations have two-party consent laws that require you to tell the homeowner before recording starts. Our guidelines list those locations.

How long does setup take?

Most teams are set up in under two hours. Estimators record on the iPhone or Apple Watch they already carry, so there is no hardware to buy. Long design appointments are recorded and scored the same way as short ones.
