International Roofing Expo 2027 dates, location and what the show is really for
The International Roofing Expo runs 16 to 18 February 2027 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, West Hall. IRE is the largest roofing and exteriors event in North America, produced by Informa Markets with the National Roofing Contractors Association as official show sponsor. This is the practical version: the dates, what a pass costs, who is on the floor, and what a roofing contractor should actually try to get out of three days.

Why the International Roofing Expo is worth it if you sell roofs at the kitchen table
IRE is the one week a year when the whole roofing and exteriors supply chain is in one building. The organizer describes it as the largest roofing and exteriors event in North America, where residential and commercial professionals come together to meet suppliers, see new products and network. For a contractor that means manufacturers, distributors, software vendors and your competitors are all within a ten minute walk of each other, which is a rare and useful thing.
The trap is treating it as a product show only. Most roofing companies do not lose money because they picked the wrong shingle. They lose it in the gap between the lead and the signature, on appointments nobody ever saw. IRE has a serious education program sitting alongside the floor, including NRCA Education, show floor education, building clinics, a Pro Contractor Pavilion and a Workforce Development Hub, and the sessions on sales, hiring and operations are usually the ones that change a number back home.
On cost, IRE is one of the more approachable major shows. The organizer prices an expo only package at 100 dollars for NRCA members and 150 dollars for non members, with early bird ending 22 January 2027, and a Super Pass for those who want the full conference program. Add Las Vegas in February and it is still a real spend, but the ticket itself is not the barrier. The barrier is going with four people and no plan for what each of them is meant to come back with.
How to work three days at IRE without wasting them
The show floor is large enough that you should decide your route before you arrive. The 2027 exhibitor list and floor plan go up on the organizer's site ahead of the show, and the sensible move is to shortlist the ten booths that map to a problem you already have, book what you can in advance, and leave the rest of the floor for the afternoon of day two. The Spanish language program and the Hispanic contractor stream are worth knowing about if that reflects your crews. If you are also weighing the smaller, sales focused roofing events, RoofCON in November is a different animal, and the International Builders' Show two weeks earlier in the same city covers new construction rather than replacement work.
What we do for roofing companies on that floor
A roofing salesperson sits at kitchen tables all week. The owner sees the closed jobs and the lost ones, and almost nothing in between. When the close rate slips, the honest answer is usually that nobody knows which step is being skipped, because nobody was there. Ride alongs help, but a ride along is a snapshot of one appointment on one day, and reps behave differently when the boss is in the truck.
SalesAsk records the appointment from the rep's own phone and scores it against your own sales steps, not a generic template. Coach Dean writes the coaching the same day, and for roofing companies specifically the measurement and reporting shows which step the team keeps missing, crew by crew and rep by rep, instead of one number at the end of the month.

If you are heading to Las Vegas in February, book a demo and we will fit it around the show, then walk your own sales steps through the scorecard so you can do your due diligence and make an informed decision.
